St Abbs Church Conversion, East Lothian
Conversion and Extension of Existing Deconsecrated Church to form Four-Bedroom Holiday Home

This project designed in 2007 involved the conversion of the deconsecrated church in St Abbs to a high-quality four-bedroom holiday home, with a contemporary highly glazed pavilion-like extension.

The site overlooks St Abbs Harbour and the design includes a Viewing Gallery located in the bell tower as well as an internal mezzanine and a grass roof over the extension.
