Conservation of Ruined Church and Graveyard
 

EKJN's experience in Architectural Conservation came to the fore for this project which involved the stabilisation of the standing walls of the derelict Kirkton Old Parish Church, a Scheduled Monument.

The work included stonework repairs, repointing the walls with lime mortar, and turf capping to the wallheads. The repair and refurbishment of two historic grave markers added a bespoke and unique element to the project.
