Grampian View, Perthshire
Extensive Alteration and Extension to Existing House in a Dramatic Rural Setting in Perthshire

What started life as a simple bungalow has been dramatically transformed in this self-build project to make a fabulous house for entertaining or for simply relaxing and taking in the views.

The project involved doubling the floor area of the existing building with a new East wing including an open plan living/dining space, and a new first floor including a master bedroom and viewing gallery.

North-facing glazing allows the building to command panoramic views across the Perthshire countryside, while the use of internal balconies and double height spaces maximises the spread of natural light throughout the building.

Client comment: "We are delighted with the final design for our house and have enjoyed working with you. It is a pleasure working with you and many, many thanks."
