EKJN Architects was formed in 2005 by Architects Ed Kelly and Jon Newey, and has grown quickly to become a busy practice with 7 employees. Based in the historic town of Linlithgow in West Lothian, EKJN Architects currently have projects throughout the central belt of Scotland from Edinburgh to Glasgow, as well as further afield in the highlands and borders.

EKJN Commercial: Our recent experience includes medical centres, dental practices, vets practices, hotels, restaurants, cafes and visitor centres. Special interests include historic buildings and modern sustainable construction. We're an experienced, efficient and well-trained team. We'll tackle almost anything.

EKJN Domestic: We offer 3 levels of service to our domestic clients. 'Bronze' is a stripped-down service for simple domestic projects, where we'll compete with the cheap and cheerful 'plan drawers' and 'architectural designers' to submit for local authority approvals. 'Silver' suits projects where there's a bit more complexity involved. 'Gold' is for projects where the full architectural service is needed including top quality design and full project-management during construction. You choose!

EKJN Housing: Our team has a great deal of experience in designing housing schemes including layouts for large developers, small private developments, steadings conversions, flatted developments and housing for local authorities. Feasibility layouts, master-planning, detailed design or full project-management. There's a package of services available to suit your needs.

Our experience in many sectors ensures we can provide you with as much of the full range of architectural services as you need, from inception to completion if required. We place importance on good design, and sustainable construction. Our staff are professional, approachable, and committed to delivering a uniquely tailored package to every client. We always welcome new and exciting projects so whatever your ideas please get in touch!
